Christina Demers has dedicated over 25 years to the field of Early Childhood Education, beginning her career as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher before moving into leadership roles as an Assistant Preschool Director and Preschool Director. Throughout her career, she has cultivated a strong passion for mentoring educators and creating high-quality learning environments where both children and teachers thrive.
During her 15 years at Cambridge Schools in Florida, Christina advanced from Assistant Director to Preschool Director, overseeing operations, guiding curriculum planning, and building strong partnerships with families. She recruited, trained, and supervised staff to ensure stability and quality, increased enrollment during challenging times, and maintained compliance with all Florida regulations. Her experience also includes managing budgets, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll while ensuring the school’s financial health.
In October 2023, Christina joined Learning Beyond Paper as a Training and Implementation Specialist, where she designed and facilitated professional development programs for preschool directors and staff. She provided mentorship and hands-on training, equipping early learning professionals with the skills to strengthen classroom management, staff supervision, and program implementation.
Now, as Director of Training and Implementation, Christina continues to dedicate her career to advancing opportunities for early learning professionals. She brings expertise in employee training, curriculum planning, budgeting, and compliance while staying current with industry trends and best practices. Her commitment to empowering educators reflects her belief that strong, supported teachers build the foundation for children’s lifelong learning success.
Christina holds an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education from Broward College and a Child Development Associate credential from Central Florida Institute of Training.
