Session 5: Looking Closer at the Engineering and Technology in STEAM Learning

A training session designed to support teachers and family home providers in implementing the Learning Beyond Paper curriculum. Session 7: From Play to Problem-Solving- Cultivating Executive Functioning Skills in Early Education
This session delves into Executive Functions (EF), essential cognitive skills for emotional regulation, impulse control, and adaptability. It emphasizes Cognitive Flexibility, Inhibitory Control, and Working Memory, showcasing how imaginative play and daily routines reinforce these abilities. The workshop underlines the critical role of early childhood in developing EF, stressing that nurturing these skills through engaging activities and supportive environments lays the foundation for academic success and problem-solving capabilities.
